Recovery Room

The Kendall 5325 Sequential Compression Device (SCD) consists of an air pump connected to a disposable sleeve via a series of air tubes and is designed to limit the development of Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) and Peripheral Edema in immobile patients. The SCD creates pressure around the calves and prevents blood from pooling in the lower legs of patients recovering from injury.
